Raridan is a GI Joe comic two-pack Duke, with some remolding.

Primary paint, after remolding was finished. Bright as it looks in this picture, the blue paint was far too dark to make believable jeans. It also had adhesion problems.
The long hair makes the backpack hole useless, but I wasn't planning to give him a back pack.

The arms have been modified. The base figure has the lower arm rotational joint about midway up the forearm. The location didn't really bother me, but I did irrepairable damage while trying to tighten up the gap there. I reworked the arms, to move the joint to where the arms come out of the rolled up sleeve. Hasbro seems to have done a similar rewrking, for an upcoming repaint of Duke. I imagine that there's stays together better than mine does....
It looks about the same in the pictures, but the jeans have been repainted in a lighter shade. They need more drybrushing, though. Everything else has been painted here, as well. The belt's a little wide, but I was covering up where I'd carved off detail from the orginal figure.
The drybrushing shows a little better, here. You can also see the oversized .45 Duke came with. I was going to replace this with one of Marauder's "Auto 9" Robocop style pistols, but the size and general proportions of the gun seem a little off to me. It was ultimately replaced USP Match pistol, from Marauder. The real ones were available chambered for .45, as well as a couple of other calibres.
Mostly finished, here. The plasma sword is made of clear blue acrylic rod, and styrene tubing. The sides of the handle were sanded down, to make for a better grip. The acrylic is far too lightly colored, and later painted with a mixture of light blue paint, and clear coat, to give the look you see at the top of the page.

The holster is also new, though unfortunately, almost as bulky as the original.
This shows how his weapons clip to his armor, as well as the clips for the plasma sword's handle, when it's not in use.

You can also see how much smaller than the Match pistol looks, in the holster.
These are the mounts, that hold Raridan's rifle and shotgun to his back. They're just buts of Styrene tube. The armor itself is styrene sheet, with a bit of old T-shirt material inside, to protect the paint on the torso.

You can also see the plasma sword handle, clipped to his belt. Those clips are also styrene tube.
Here, you can make out the battle damage, to the front of the armor. The straps that hold the armor together are the same thin styrene sheet (.010" black) that I use for gun holsters, and details. The clips that fasten them to the front of the armor are the same plastic sheet, stacked in such a way to creat an over hang that holds the straps. Thankfully, these have proven easier to fasten and unfasten that my first attempt at Angel's gear.

You can also see that he's holding his removeable visor.
The visor is held to his face by friction. It basically just pinches the sides of his head. It's made from styrene tubing, and some of that .010" black sheet. The rifle is one of Marauder's M14s that come with a bipod. I've chosen not to use the bipod, and I've painted the wood textured parts of the stock, with Model Master "Wood" colored acrylic paint.

I did some more drybrushing on the jeans with Model Master's "RAF Sky Type." That color has a nice old denim look to it.

Raridan Lefanu

Team Leader
Primary Weapon: M14 long rifle
Secondary Weapon: USP Match Pistol (chambered for .45)
Backup Weapon: Pump Action Shotgun
Other Weapons: Plasma Sword

Raridan has been travelling between universes for a while. It's not clear exactly where he got the technology, but whether he developed it himself, or stumbled upon it, he has a full understanding of it. It's allowed him to establish his company on a number of Earths. It invariably becomes a large technology conglomerate, and is never publicly traded.

Raridan's casual exploration of the multiverse ended, when he came across Earth's that had become completely over run by Technothrope's. After helping the Special Responce Unit prevent Technothropes extablish a foothold in one universe, he began working with them, to stop Technothropic expansion in the multiverse. The SRU had no arguements with equiping him for out of Universe excursions, after Lefanu Heavy Industries became one of their largest investors.
